OUR BELIEFS

WE BELIEVE THAT:

The Holy Bible is the divinely inspired, inerrant and revealed word of God, verbally inspired and the all sufficient role of faith and practice.

There is one God who is eternally existing in three persons forming the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit .

Jesus is the Christ, the eternal Son of the Living God, the Savior of men, born of a virgin and equal with the Father in every divine perfection. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried and rose on the third day according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. The return of the Lord Jesus Christ will be visible and bodily.

We are in need of salvation, because we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Salvation is by grace alone, though faith alone, in Christ only. Salvation is free to all, through repentance and faith, surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ.

All who have been born again are eternally secure and will persevere to the end.

Water baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, preceded by salvation, is a requirement for membership in this church. Biblical Reference - ( Matthew 28:19 )

Christ personally instituted the church.

There are only two classes of people in God's sight, saved and unsaved (believers and non-believers). The saved shall live eternally in conscious blessedness in Heaven, the unsaved in conscious punishment eternally in hell. Biblical Reference - ( John 5: 24 )

There are only two scriptural ordinances commanded by Jesus Christ for the New Testament church, baptism and the Lord's Supper. There are only two scriptural offices in the church, Pastor and Deacons.

Tithes and offerings are God's financial plan for this church.
